Trish Scoular, a Registered Professional Counsellor (RPC #3517) with the Canadian Professional Counsellor’s Association, is distinguished for her dedication and empathy in her practice. Trish's extensive 26-year career as a Continuing Care Assistant, primarily assisting seniors, underlines her commitment to compassionate care.
Known for her patience, integrity, and exceptional listening abilities, Trish has been a passionate advocate in mental health, focusing on PTSD and supporting pregnant women dealing with substance use. Her leadership in organizing a symposium and guiding a panel to the BC legislature led to significant policy advancements in these areas. This work garnered recognition from Health Minister Adrian Dix, who acknowledged Trish's contributions in broadening treatment approaches for vulnerable populations.
