It’s time to slow down and stop beating yourself up. I will help you draw from your natural strengths in striving to find new meaning.
I am an educator, a husband, a father of four, and I offer a genuine, caring, and warm presence where you can make sense of your suffering, unveil your potential, and become fully alive. I believe that by providing a safe and non-judgmental space to explore and gain understanding of the problems you face, you can experience healing and positive change in your life.
I am experienced in counselling adults and adolescents. I have a holistic view of my clients and believe that true healing requires an integration of all aspects of the human person.
I primarily draw from Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), but depending on the need of the client I will also incorporate Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
For clients who are interested, I have experience integrating religious and spiritual elements into the therapeutic context.
