Lorna is currently on maternity leave.
Lorna graduated from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2016 in Vancouver, BC. She is a member in good standing with the CMTBC and the RMTBC.
Before returning to school, she was a tour guide for several years and maintained strong enthusiasm for anything outdoors, especially hiking and camping. Living and practicing in the Chilliwack community came easily, given the many opportunities to explore here.
While in school, Lorna learned of the many orthopedic and systemic conditions that impact our quality of life.
Conditions include but are not limited to, chronic pain, muscle
strains, tension headaches, postural dysfunction, arthritis, tendonitis, whiplash injuries, nerve impingement, and prenatal massage.
She employs techniques such as myofascial release, muscle energy, passive and active stretching, trigger point release, and joint mobilizations during treatment. Specific techniques are mindfully integrated into a Swedish-style massage.
Lorna enjoys a holistic approach to manual therapy and is happy to work alongside other healthcare providers to best meet each client's individual needs.
